Body Lift
Description
Body Lift is a preventative and corrective treatment for stretch marks. By helping in inhibit the harmful effects of various proteolytic enzymes (elastase, trypsin, chymotrypsin) involved in the formulation of stretch marks and suppression of the synthesis of skin matrix molecules (collagen, fibronectin). rejuvaDERM Body Lift enables skin to recover more rapidly and effectively from the trauma of being forcibly extended. While maintaining skin firmness by inhibition of the enzyme hyalurondisase, which is responsible for the breakdown of Hyaluronic Acid in the skin resulting in the loss of firmness, elasticity and smoothness. The third element of rejuvaDERM Body Lift stimulates tissue regeneration by way of collagen matrix build up. Couple this with the latest 24 hour moisturizing technology and you had a powerful formula to assist in the correction of stretch marks. It also contains powerful bleaching elements to fade stretch marks restore and restore normal dermal clarity.
Directions for Use
Every day after shower or bath, apply a small amount to the entire body for a smooth and silky skin. Massage in light circular movements concentrating and insisting on the areas where there are stretch marks. Leave on your skin until the next shower.

Moisturising and anti oxidant properties. |
Palmitoyl Oligopeptide Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-3 |
|
Contains matrikines that are messengers of cutaneous restructuration and repair. They activate the neosynthesis of extracellular matrix macromolecules providing a visible anti-wrinkle efficacy. |

Bearberry |
|
Is an active ingredient designed for the treatment of pigmentary spots and cutaneous discolouration problems. Its activity based on African ethnobotanical experience is confirmed by a strong tyrosinase inhibitory activity in vitro and ex vivo. |
Imperata Cylindrica |
|
Imperata cylindrical provides the skin with considerable hydration. Potassium and DMSP help cells maintain their osmotic equilibrium. The synergistic effect has been exploited to produce a high, immediate and long-lasting moisturizing effect. |
Centella asiatica extract |
Gotu Kola |
To aid wound healing stimulate the production of type 1 collagen and results in a marked decrease in inflammatory reaction and myofibroblast production. |
Siegesbeckia orientalis |
|
The active constituent has a crystalline structure akin to that of aspirin (salicylic acid) and is responsible for its sedative and soothing action. |
Undaria & Pinnatifida |

Inhibition of enzymes
During the inflammatory phase contributing to the formation of stretch marks, proteolytic enzymes are released such as Trypsin, chymotrypsin (mast cell degranulation) and leukocyte Elastase (macrophages). Trypsin, chymotrypsin or elastase are
Incubated with REGESTRIL tm at different concentrations.
The inhibition kinetics are monitored for a few
REGESTRIL tm inhibits, in a dose-dependent and significant
Manner, the proteolytic enzymes released during the formation
Of the stretch mark.
Synthesis of matrix macromolecules Human fibroblasts are
Incubated with REGESTRIL tm at 2%. After incubation, the
Collagen 1 and the fibronectin produced are quantified by immuno
Dosage and visualized by immuno fluorescence.

REGESTRIL tm fights against the degradation of the Extracellular matrix contributing to the formation of stretch marks by:
- antagonizing the destructive effect of proteolytic enzymes.
- Stimulating the neosynthesis of the matrix macromolecules.
